I know beauty is all in the eye of the beholder but maybe have your eye bleach at the ready for this one.

It’s literally named The Monster. See pics for details.

It looks like a kit car.

I was quite impressed with the description. It is almost faultless, except that they could have mentioned that the person in charge of exterior design within Centro Stile was Robert Opron (who also designed the Citroën SM and CX, among others).

I’ve seen a couple over the years and it is even more shocking in person. Some angles make it look ridiculously short. However, it has an immense amount of presence. You may not like it, but once you look at it you will respect it.

Last time I saw one it was parked outside a classic car show. Later that night it overtook me on the motorway at a truly impossible speed in torrential rain on a long, loong, loooong sweeper.

Blasted thing was going as if on rails.

Note that although quite appropriate “Il mostro” was a nickname – never ever its official name.

I like them. They look like an odd mix of kit and OEM.

Hope you are not being sarcastic! Thanks, but not really.

When you have more than a brace of De Dion Alfas you tend to know about these things.

I even managed to acquire two rear wheels from an SZ (for a Busso-engined project), but now the front ones are absolutely impossible to find.
